Ideal stay for a large group, even for the little ones.
What we saw on the website was the absolute reality.

Villa Alba is a beautiful house with beautiful views, all amenities available. Ideal for large families or 2 families. 6 bedrooms, each with private shower and toilet. (It is still possible to expand with 2 additional sofa beds). Large kitchen with all appliances. Beautiful terraces and many corners in front and behind the house to relax. There is private parking at the house, but with a very steep slope. Therefore, we parked our cars on the (quiet) street, which was no problem for us. There is a supermarket (Esclat) in Cristina d'aro (5 minutes by car from the house) with all the necessary products. No restaurants were found in the town. Much further ahead if you drive towards the coast. 15 minutes drive from the beach, with many water sports options (e.g. Sant Feliu de Guixols and others), and half an hour from Girona (a nice city to visit).

Beautiful view towards the rear from the large terrace.
Good restaurants and surroundings.
I got all the advice from Joost and Hazel. Many possibilities for hiking or mountain biking in nature. Golf nearby.

Good service. Thank you. Walk along the Cami de Ronda de S'Agaró to the next beach and then have a snack at the Arnall delicatessen on the main street.

Our advice for future clients - Walk along the rugged coast from Sant Feliux de Guixoles to Platja d'Aro. The walk is easy. There are several places where you have beautiful views. Travel by road from Sant Feliux de Guixoles to Torres de Mar. Beautiful views appear along the winding roads. Unfortunately the villages are not accessible by car and you will need a sturdy pair of walking shoes to tackle the steep climb.
Eat delicious tapas at El Galeo in Palamós.
Fantastic delicacies to enjoy at the bar and deliver to home. by friendly staff.

the pool & on the terrace, with plenty of outdoor furniture. The kitchen had all we needed & the Nespresso machine was well-used by the coffee drinkers. The pool is a good size & was also well-used. We had four hire cars & parked two down the driveway & two on the street where there is ample parking. If you have a low car you will struggle to get down the driveway. The villa is up the hill in a residential area so you will need a car if you choose to stay here. It is very private with the owner also owning the house next door. If he is there, his dogs may come to say hello. I would recommend this villa to a large group of friends or family & would stay there again if we chose to holiday in the same area. The area itself is great & the closest town has all you need with a good supermarket. La Santa market in the summer is also worth a visit. The coastline is fabulous & worth a drive south to discover some of the beaches. We also hired a boat twice in Saint Feliu de Guixols. Some of those with us from Ireland thought the air conditioning could have been cooler & more efficient in the bedrooms. The wooden Venetian blinds in the bedrooms were tied down and closed. We didn't attempt to open them although it would have been nice to have more natural light in the bedrooms & use the balconies.
